Not a cook book, but a collection of stories, translated back and forth, some resembling recipes, some not so much. Foraged during a nearly 3 months of walking around Ojika, sometimes a bit lost in translation. A pocket book about living together, finding new shapes of old things. Also about using hands, learning and failing.
Recipes and impressions collected from locals, presented as they were, and combined into a book.
Illustrated by the students of Ojika Middle School.
Published by Studio the Future as a part of The Ojika Artist in Island Program, supported by Ojika Town and Nagasaki Prefecture, as well as The Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo.
